Powersave (Split Supply)
The Powersave is designed to remove the need for the current drawn by all servos from passing through the receiver and is for use with receivers that ARE voltage sensitive. Please note that this unit is not optically isolated.
This unit requires the use of servo batteries only, the RX is powered from the same supply. The servo supply can be either 4.8v direct or 6.0v battery backed (please check that all equipment to be used is able to handle the higher voltage ie 5 cells minus 0.7 v diode drop).
The unit has twelve short fly leads fitted with universal plugs for connection to the receiver and twelve standard pin block connectors for connection to the servos. Power for the servos is supplied via either the 4,8v direct connection or the two 6,0v battery backer inputs. Battery monitor connections are available for use in backer configuration (use any servo output for 4.8v configuration).

The Opto Isolator Unit is designed to electrically disconnect and isolate all servos and their associated wiring from the receiver, thereby removing all radio frequency interference entering the receiver via the servo connections. The use of this unit has several other benefits including improved receiver operating range and the possibility of running the servos and receiver on different supply voltages. The unit is supplied with eight short fly-leads fitted with universal plugs for connection to the receiver and eight standard pin connectors for connection to the servos.

SM34 Backer Monitor

The Backer Monitor is designed to allow two 5 Cell receiver batteries to be connected to one receiver. If either battery fails it will automatically be blocked from affecting the remaining functional battery. Each battery is separately monitored for safe operation and the current state is indicated by red and green LED indicators, the switching point is set at 5.95v + or - 50 mv. This unit will NOT work with standard 4.8v receiver packs. Connections are via screw block connectors.

The controller is a micro processor operated unit designed to simplify the use of motor driven retract and flap control systems. The signal from the receiver is used to decide where the retract should be. The micro processor then checks to see if the retract is in the required position, if it is not then power of the correct polarity is then supplied to the motor until the limit micro switch operates, power is then removed until the next operating sequence is demanded.

The FailSafe is a micro computer controlled unit designed to detect both the loss of receiver output control signals as well as detecting corrupted signals. The computer will go into fail safe mode after finding 100 missing or corrupted control pulses. Upon receiving 10 valid pulses the computer will return to normal operating mode. The servo fail safe position is adjustable across the complete servo range in 6.25% steps. Connections are via universal plug fly-lead to the receiver and pcb mounted pin connector to the servo.
